On Friday, Daisy First Aid delivered a First Aid training session in the Theatre to a group of our students who are Young Carers outside of school. The course provided students with valuable skills, including the recognition of an unconscious person, casualty and airway management (including recovery positions), effective CPR, safe use of a defibrillator, treatment for bleeds and minor injuries, as well as the management of burns and choking incidents. We hope that by supporting our wonderful Young Carers in this way we can equip them with the skills to stay calm and potentially save a life in an emergency situation.
