Our Year 9 students attended Durham University this week. Three coaches took the students to Durham where we attended lectures, had seminars about skills and careers and took part in a tour of the university and some surrounding areas of Durham. The students were full of smiles and really embraced the experience. We felt very proud of their behaviour and attitude to the new situation. Students had lots of questions about student life and the benefits of going to university. They were particularly amazed at the size of some of the lecture theatres and how many books were in the library. Well done Year  9!
