We saw the phased return of students to school with teaching moving from mostly on screen back to the classroom. During lockdown our students have worked superbly, accessing online lessons to help keep their learning on track. Our pastoral team have been helping everyone settle into the routines and teachers are delivering lessons in class, whilst also updating learning resources to the class sites on Microsoft Teams, so that anyone having to self-isolate can stay on track. Our assemblies have been focussed on ‘grasping the nettle’ and facing difficult problems boldly. We’ve also made sure that students are aware of our plans for the post lockdown ‘unlocking learning’ journey.
