Our transition programme is in full swing as pupils from Broadway Junior School joined us recently to take part in a special physics lesson as part of our transition programme. Year 6 pupils got the chance to handle some the equipment they will use in secondary school, learning about the properties of light, including: lensing, reflection, refraction and the spectrum. This was a fantastic introduction to some of the advanced concepts that are part of our science curriculum and gave a great idea to students about the type of lessons and topics they will study in at Secondary school.
