Last week Year 7 and 8 received their very own book as a gift from the school through the Book Trust ‘Bookbuzz’ programme. This year we’re encouraging students to use their Bookbuzz book to take part in a sponsored read-a-thon for the charity Read for Good. Read for Good help to raise money to buy new books for children in hospital and raise money for new books for schools. We are asking students to pledge to read for at least 10 minutes each day for a week and to ask family and friends to sponsor them and bring their sponsor card and money into the LRC by Monday 18th December 2023.
