That Festive Feeling
This week we are encouraging students to enter into the full festive spirit. Our annual ‘Christmas Jumper Day’ will take place this Thursday. Pupils are welcome to wear a festive jumper under their blazer for the day. All other items of uniform must be worn as normal. We will also be serving Christmas Dinner for lunch on the same day so that our students can truly embrace the Christmas Spirit.
This week has also seen the return of our ‘Candy Cane of Kindness’ fundraisers. This was hugely popular last year, and we are bringing it back to celebrate the spirit of giving. They are available for are £1 for staff and 50p for students and come with a tag that staff and students can use to write on as a nice festive way to let someone else know how thankful they are. The candy canes can then be gifted straight to their intended recipient or delivered by our school council by posting them in a box left at school reception every breaktime. All the proceeds will be gifted to charity in time for Christmas.
