Talking About Respect

In assembly Mrs Johnston discussed the concept of respect with our pupils. Respect is an important ingredient in our daily lives. Respect helps us build healthy relationships at home with family, is an important part of strong intermate relationships and is essential when engaging with colleagues at school, work, and wider society. At school over the last few weeks, we have been placing special emphasis on showing respect to each other. This includes not only being polite to teachers but treating friends and peers in the school environment in the same way we would wish to be treated.

Year 7 have been joining in with the respect theme with three pupils being rewarded for their consistent and impressive examples of showing respect to their peers, teachers and support staff.
