Super Scientists Making Magic
Year 4 pupils from Hastings Hill Academy came for their first visit to Sandhill View Science department, where they tried to recreate the magic of Harry Potter spells by burning different chemicals and observing what colour the flame changed to. They also enjoyed the experience of lighting a Bunsen burner and showed they could follow lab safety rules with their excellent behaviour. Helping out were four Year 10 students who were a credit to our school throughout. We can’t wait to have Year 4 back in to do more fun science!
