The Summer to Success is a program we are running to help pupils continue their learning over the summer. Our pupils have worked unbelievably hard this year and we want to help them maintain these high standards.
We are asking each pupil to complete a Personal Development Passport over the summer holidays. This is a booklet that features enrichment activities that support Numeracy and Literacy, whist also rewarding students with points that may be used later in the year.
As I’m sure you are aware, it is crucial pupils keep these key literacy and numeracy skills engaged throughout the summer, which is why we would like you to support this amazing initiative.

Finally, as you know, the most important way that you can support your child with learning, is to give them the opportunity to read and read often. To support them with this, over the Summer, they may find it useful to join the Sunderland Public Library, where they may borrow books and get a pin to be able to access e-books.
