Parents, or any other person with an appointment wishing to visit the school, must enter the grounds from the Sandhill Centre. Please follow the signs on Grindon Lane. Visitor parking is available at the Sandhill Centre. All visitors to the school must enter through the main entrance to the building which is located adjacent to the Children’s Services centre.
It is mandatory that all visitors to the school report to reception to make any enquiries, report for appointments with staff or request admittance. All visitors to the school must sign in and collect a visitor’s badge from the school office, you will then be asked to return your badge and sign out upon conclusion of your visit.
As part of our safeguarding policy, only visitors who have express permission and the necessary DBS checks are allowed unescorted access of the school. All other visitors must be escorted by a member of staff at all times during school hours and term times.
During special events such as school shows, award ceremonies, parents and open evenings which occur outside of school hours, sign in is not required. Members of staff will be available during these times to direct you to the correct areas of the building.
