This week we had the pleasure of welcoming some very important guests to our school including Bridget Phillipson the Secretary of State for Education, along with some key members of the Duke of Edinburgh organisation.

The visit was to look at some of the amazing things we provide our students in terms of enrichment, with a focus on how successful our DofE provision is. They had the opportunity to speak to some students in both Year 10 and 11 on their own DofE experiences and see first hand some of the skills they have developed, including CPR, erecting tents and navigating skills. It is safe to say everyone was blown away, not only with the lifelong skills demonstrated, but also the passion and maturity the students had.
