Last week, Year 8 enjoyed a live theatre-style performance by Theatre Space North East called ‘Josh Green’. This impactful drama conveys the significance of road safety to Key Stage 3 students during a pivotal period in their development. By emphasising the influence of peer pressure on decision-making, it encourages young individuals to recognize and navigate the complexities of their choices and behaviours. The performance serves as a valuable tool in fostering awareness and resilience, equipping students with the skills needed to make informed, safe decisions in their daily lives. Our students were enthralled by the hard-hitting drama on stage and took part in a short questions and answer sessions hosted by the actors after the show.
