On Friday we encouraged our pupils to wear red as part of a non-uniform day in aid of The Red Sky Foundation. We are proud to support the work of this amazing local charity who are raising money to improve the life of cardiac patients who are born with or develop heart conditions and provide life-saving defibrillators for local schools and public places. We will be working closely with RSF to increase the number of defibrillators in school which are ready to be used in the case of an emergency. We will be continuing to support the charity throughout the year, including more opportunities for students to be aware of how to use defibrillators and perform basic CPR. At the end of the day we were delighted to have raised £338 for this excellent charity.
