Mad About Mushrooms
On Tuesday, some of our Year 7 and Year 8 pupils had the opportunity to work with Kylie Dixon. Kylie is a published children’s author and illustrator who predominately writes books on the theme of ‘mushrooms’ inspired by her long walks across the North East. During their time with Kylie, pupils crafted and produced their own illustrations and short stories inspired by the natural world. Some of the children were so inspired that they asked if they could take their creations home to continue the ‘mushy’ madness!.
