Cutting County Lines
Northumbria Police have produced a leaflet on the subject of ‘County Lines’. County Lines is where illegal drugs are transported from one area to another, often across police and local authority boundaries (although not exclusively), usually by children or vulnerable people who are coerced into it by gangs. The ‘County Line’ is the mobile phone line used to take the orders of drugs. This leaflet provides information on the warning signs for parents/carers to look out for and tips on what they can do to help. At the bottom of the document, contact numbers/email addresses are provided for people to seek help, advice or guidance with anything County Lines related.
