The annual Careers Fair at Sandhill View is always an excellent opportunity to make early steps on the journey beyond school and this year was no exception. Students once again had the opportunity to speak to a vast range of employers, educational providers and training providers including: Deloitte, Seta, Wates, sections of our armed forces, the NHS, The Civil Service, a large variety of local colleges, Sunderland, Durham and Northumbria Universities amongst others, plus many, many other training and apprenticeship providers.

Pupils went from stand to stand, asking the all-important questions to the attendees about the work, education or training they provide and the prospects of the careers and opportunities that open up with them. This year our Year 11 students once again had the chance to bring their parents to the fair with them, for further support and information whilst exploring the fantastic range of options available.
