This week we were happy to welcome back Andy from ‘Wearside Youth for Christ’ who once again entertained students with his usual charismatic style of presentation. As always, we began with a quiz where students had to identify the classic Disney movies and their modern remakes shown on screen before two pupils took part in a fresh mint stacking competition! This linked into the message of making a ‘fresh start’ in the new year, putting your past behind you and moving on to remake yourself into something new. Andy expressed how his belief in God allowed him to always move on from the past, forgive himself for any past transgressions and move forward into becoming a better person.
