Another Year of GCSE Success!

Following last week’s A Level successes at the Sixth Form at Southmoor, we were delighted to once again celebrate a great set results for our GCSE students today.

Sandhill View staff welcomed an excited ‘Class of 2019’ into school to collect their well-earned examination results. There were smiles all around as students celebrated receiving their excellent results with teachers and friends.

Recently appointed headteacher, Joanne Maw, was there to greet the students as they arrived, she commented:

‘The new exam system is incredibly rigorous and today presents a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the achievements of so many of our students. Such success results from the hard work the students, the dedication and commitment of teaching and support staff and tremendous support from parents and carers. We wish each and every one of our young people every possible continued success.’
