Yr 9 Exhibit at the Laing
Year 9 art students visited the Laing art Gallery in Newcastle in April to see the result of their project work on display. They had taken part in the ARTiculate project along with five other schools and responded to the brief of ‘Changing Landscapes’. Students worked with practicing artists in a gallery setting and developed their visual literacy skills to create a mixed media piece of artwork.
