Year 11 and Year 10 Scholars all attended a lecture with a guest speaker last week. Curtis is one of our very own Alumni who graduated SHV in 2013. Curtis is working on a PHD at St Andrews University. He graduated from the university as a Geologist and has been working in this field ever since. He told students about life at St Andrews, the highs and the lows and gave them all some very good advice about how to push themselves and to really aim high. Curtis showed us videos and photos of his adventures in the field of Geology including camping in Greenland, and Norway. He told us of his adventures living in Germany and all of the interesting things he has discovered. Curtis is a great example for our students and we hope to see many of them come back to share their stories in ten years time.
