Students in Conversation with the BBC
Last week we were visited by Ravi Naik, a senior journalist from BBC Radio 4, who interviewed some of our Year 7 and 8 students as part of a documentary about reading for pleasure which will be presented by the author Julia Donaldson (author of the much loved children’s book ‘The Gruffalo). The programme is called ‘Can Reading For Pleasure Improve Your Life?’ and it will air on Monday 13th November at 8:30pm on BBC Radio 4 and it focuses on why reading for pleasure is in decline (the National Literacy Trust says it’s at a 20-year low). We can’t wait to hear our wonderful students on National Radio.
