Understanding Oxford
Our scholar’s programme had a presentation from St. Anne’s College about university. Students learned about what university is, how to get into very competitive and selective universities such as Oxford and also how young people are provided with financial support to do so. There was even information about the more unusual side of Oxford such as how they have their own tortoise that takes part in races every year and emotional support alpacas to help students deal with stress during their exams!
