Our G.C.S.E results are in!
A difficult year involving a lot of hard work from students and staff has certainly paid off, following our recent GCSE results! We are delighted to be the second most improved school in Sunderland, regarding our five A*-C’s including English and maths figures – 46% of our students achieved a C+ in English and maths. This is a very encouraging 18% increase on our figures from the last academic year. In addition to this, our A*-C’s in maths has improved by 17% this year and is currently at 56%.
Other stand-out performances include Art and Design, Drama, German, Resistant Materials and Sport. Not only that but both our Additional and Further Additional Science figures are above the National average.
This is a great set of results for us that demonstrate how the academy is moving forward, though we know that there is still a lot of hard work ahead of us to make Sandhill View the outstanding school we all know it can be and will become.
We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate our Yr 11’s on their GCSE results and wish them all the very best for the future!
