The Bottle to Reduce Plastic Waste

As we strive as a school to reduce our carbon footprint and work towards net zero, we are now focusing on our single use plastic. With this in mind we have purchased every child a Sandhill View water bottle, made from recycled plastic, so we no longer need to use disposable plastic cups. Disposable cups produce an equivalent of 152,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide each year when they end up in landfill, so we want to do our bit to support this. We also want to encourage students to drink more water, with our brains comprising of roughly 75% water, studies show that increased water can help you think more clearly and increase your ability to focus.
